Luibh Skincare is an organic skincare brand founded by Bridget, who has been practicing herbal medicine for the last 25 years together with her son Fintan. Bridget became disenchanted with the skincare industry and decided to create a brand that provides completely natural, herbalist-made formulas which care for the planet rather than harming it.
As Luibh is a brand focusing on nature, herbalism and clean honest ingredients, the logical way forward was to brand their products showcasing exactly those aspects. The design of the packaging portrays scenes from West Cork which create a connection to where the brand originates from and the branding as a whole is simple, honest and showcasing its raw nature.
The logo encompasses Luibh’s connection to their roots, beginnings and the raw nature surrounding them. The Fastnet Lighthouse, which is iconic for West Cork, was chosen to represent the brand symbolising Luibh’s origins and the rugged, wild land it was born from.
